Gee we are so lucky to have Chris Bowen. His anti nuclear stance makes him smarter than the USA. Canada, Japan, China, Russia France, and the UK. and 24 other countries. Einstein just a school boy compared to this genius

@DAVEWILLISON1 We ARE lucky, especially given the alternative LNP rabble on offer. But what everybody forgets is all these nuclear plants were built when expensive dirty coal was the only viable alternative. Cheap, sustainable power has changed the game.

@DAVEWILLISON1 Nuclear is Australia’s N-word that shall not be spoken. We should’ve had nuclear power and nuclear weapons decades ago.

@DAVEWILLISON1 Well it does Dave because for our particular circumstances our relatively small population, huge land mass & our access to unlimited solar & wind power selecting the most expensive energy source makes no sense whatsoever.

@DAVEWILLISON1 Why didn’t the former government go down the nuclear path when they were in power and coal fired power stations were closing down under their watch?

@DAVEWILLISON1 Howard had control of both houses in 2004. He could have easily ended the ban on nuclear and started the process of building plants which would be close to operational by now. Instead, he preferred to smash the unions by introducing WorkChoices. Einstein indeed.

@DAVEWILLISON1 When your greenhouse denialism is wearing thin, it’s time for plan B. Best way to extend the life of your fossil fuel investments is to agitate for the non-emitting replacement with the longest lead time.

@DAVEWILLISON1 You need to listen to Ian Lowe. He was on Phillip Adams RN program last night. The British using Maralinga with total disregard to its traditional owners means no traditional owners will allow waste to be buried on their lands so are you going to offer your backyard?

@DAVEWILLISON1 Quick question All those countries have had nuke power for half a century Can I ask what happened in the last year that makes it an imperative all of a sudden? Given the 20yr lead time why didn’t the LNP start a decade ago?
