Our Caritas in Action team would like to say a huge thank you on behalf of the food bank for the massive 116 Kg of food donations sent to feed the hungry in Rochdale this week. Our Gift team had a valuable experience, touring around the foodbank and were a credit to our school.

If I was worried about people comparing me to 1930s Germany, my next move probably wouldn't be to shut down all criticism on the national broadcasting service

You know when you stay behind after school to get some marking done and that one teacher walks into your room with a cup of coffee, makes them self comfortable, and chats with you for so long that you end up doing nothing? I’m that teacher 😎. #edutwitter

Every teacher knows this. Start strict, then relax if possible. It never, ever works the other way round.

I love an analogy, talking to Y7 about teaching being team work. Teacher is goalkeeper prevent own goal (misconceptions) can’t win if lots of goals get in. Pupils are the other players. Can’t win if they don’t try and score goals. What’s your go to analogy!

While Toilet Duck and Dettol are trending, here's a reminder of the word 'ultracrepidarian': one who consistently offers opinions and advice on subjects way beyond their understanding.
