On the night of 12/02/1957, a fire broke out at Jaguar’s factory in Coventry, destroying nine of the 25 planned Jaguar XKSS cars. This tragic event left only 16 of these rare road-legal cars left one of which would famously end up in the hands of none other than Steve McQueen!
