@Morning_Joe @gtconway3d Somebody tell me what’s wrong with the economy. -3.6% Unemployment -7.9 million Jobs added (the most in ANY year) -Wages Up 5.6% -Deficit is Down $1.3 Trillion (the Most in Any year). Inflation is a global problem and any person that tells you it’s not is lying.

Mitch McConnell does not want you to retweet the new ad from Democrat Mike Franken who is running against Chuck Grassley for US Senate. If they lose in Iowa they are in a world of hurt and Mitch will never be in charge of the Senate again.

@stephen_taylor Let's be honest, the NWC inserted to the constitution as a fop to Quebec politicians .. on the assumption that reasonable politicians would never stoop so low as to actually use it. Guess what .. there is no low that politicians won't stoop to.

Outrageous. The notwithstanding clause was not intended for this. It’s casual use by govts is alarming

This is a very bad day for human rights in Canada friends. Ontario’s “Keeping Students in Schools Act” is a full out assault on fundamental labour rights. And its casual use of the notwithstanding clause points to a deeply troubling trend. 1/7

Canadian Civil Liberties Association: "The notwithstanding clause was never meant to be used in contract negotiations, or as a casual tool to disrupt basic human rights safeguarded in our Charter. This misuse, and the flagrant disregard for individual rights is wrong"

The Ontario government recently gave 43 of their MPPs a $16,000 raise, bringing their salary to $132,500/year. So why are they refusing to provide a decent wage to Ontario’s lowest paid education workers, who make $39,000/year & are just asking for a $3.25/hour raise to survive?

@DonMartinCTV And if they did, so what? It's a political embarrassment and those are best left resolved by voters at election time.

@DonMartinCTV 3 weeks of complete ineffectiveness by OPS & Ont. 3 weeks of no clues while Ottawa suffered. It’s become clear that there is conflicting and incomplete evidence to make any declaration of overreach.

@DonMartinCTV Ivison is never excellent but it is an excellent example of Ivison: clever and misleading in a mean-spirited sort of way, never an article unclouded by bitter ideology even in matters of public safety.

@DonMartinCTV Can the morality of an action be judged by its consequence? If so, then the use of the Emergency Act was wholly justified.
