It amazes me that people think of 'do-gooder' as an insult, that always blows my mind -- Kevin Bacon.

Bluesky will trap academics in the same way Twitter/X did:. Dr Mark Carrigan is a Senior Lecturer in Education at the University of Manchester. Are any of my followers on BlueSky?. Will you post this there?.

This is a moment to remind people that Twitter can read your so-called "Private Messages". PMs with certain links in them are being blocked. Elon and friends have access to your DMs. Remember that.

I don't know what they've done, but it's nearly impossible to paste things into the edit window here . it gets completely screwed. So I *was* going to post a link to the next video in the #G4G15 series, but it's a nightmare. The announcement is here:.

Is there a simple way to see that for a non-constant polynomial with coefficients in R that the complex roots come in conjugate pairs?. In other words, if p(z)=0 the p(w)=0, where w is the complex conjugate of z. Ideas?. How accessible can this be for secondary school students?.
