MS Football at MKA has now finished .500 or better in 5 of their last 6 seasons dating back to 2018 (No 2020 season due to COVID).

MKA MS Football (2-1-1) finished their 2024 season yesterday with a loss against a tough Delbarton squad. The team averaged 16.3 ppg while allowing 13 ppg. Dating back to last season, the program is now 6-2-1 in their last 9 games with a +87 scoring differential.

Last week, MKA Boys MS Basketball (14-3) brought home their first MSAC Championship with a 47-41 win over the Peck School. They finished a perfect 8-0 in conference play. The squad averaged 48 ppg and outscored their opponents by 174 points on the season. #GenerationNext

It may be 27 degrees outside but the @MKAAthletics Basketball Program is hot heading into winter break as Boys Varsity (3-1), Girls Varsity (2-2), Boys JV (3-1), Boys MS (4-1), and Girls MS (5-0) combined to go 10-0 this week in conference play. #Cougars

MKA MS Football finishes their 2023 campaign at 4-1. The Cougars finished with a +73 scoring differential on the season, averaging 24 ppg. The program has now finished .500 or better in 4 of the last 5 seasons. Can’t wait to see the 8th graders at the next level in 2024.

MKA Boys’ Varsity (15-5) and JV (12-7) both pick up SEC wins on the road this afternoon at Cedar Grove. Next up…Varsity will host Newark Academy in the Prep B semi’s this Friday at home at 4 pm.

MKA JV Hoops’ (8-6) Essex County Tournament run comes to an end today with a loss at Livingston. Best thing about in-season tournaments though… win or go home and play again tomorrow as we hit the road for another business trip… Eagle Academy, 2:30 pm tip.

MKA JV Hoops (8-5) knocks off West Orange, 40-34, in the first round of Essex County JV Tournament. The young Cougar hoopers are now 8-2 in SEC play and 4-0 on the road. Will travel to Livingston for a second round match up next week.

MKA Boys Varsity Basketball (2-0) back in action today against McGuffy (PA) in the semi’s of the KSA Basketball Classic in Orlando, FL. Tip is set for 2:30 pm. JV (1-1) also in action later this evening against Orem (UT).
