A giant of Scottish broadcasting. Political reporter, commercial radio innovator and not least, producer and narrator of the Celtic Story, which from memory I saw in the Odeon in Renfield St on the 17 Sep 1967, only 16 weeks after Lisbon. Deepest sympathy to his family.

I do not know much about him but as a radio lover, I thank for all his work and I will pray for him and his family. May he rest in peace.

Worked with Sir "Jimmy" in early 90s - an inspiring leader, watched first hand as he called the bluff of a tremendous bully, it was done without histrionics just calm and polite statements. My condolences to his family.
