The punishment for abusing the substitute rules was paying back the prizemoney + fine Those happen regardless of the result The result part means no other Team was disadvantaged/ in need of compensation I think ESIC worded it weirdly but people are up in arms over a nothingburger
This is beyond a joke. Using the tournament result to justify the punishment given, when the rules were broken regardless of the result, is absolutely baffling.
