1/2 - Expect over time an exodus of talented team members creating New Co’s delivering existing and new services to existing and new clients. Incredible opportunity to release entrepreneurial talent into the Accounting Ether.

Having lived and “escaped” from a public co, acquired firm (now PE owned) 23 years ago. This is on the money, fascinating to see this roll around our world at pace today. Initiated largely by 5/28 self interest (eventually the “ponzi” model of firm ownership was going to break).

Type-A personalities have goal pursuit as default hardwiring. This is excellent for producing achievement, but also anxiety, as you’re constantly future-focused. I’ve personally decided that achievement is no more than a passing grade in life. It’s a C+ that gets you limping
