Five CitiParks Warming Centers will be ACTIVATED on Saturday, February 7 and Sunday, February 8, 2026. Beechview, Greenfield, Homewood, Sheraden & South Side HAL Senior Centers will OPEN as Warming Centers on both days. Our Rec Centers will also be open on Saturday.

Next stop on Imagination Station — the letter L! The little learners at @Pittsburgh’s Jefferson Rec Center loved the story “L Is for Lamb,” enjoyed a lifesaving treat with Lifesavers, colored fluffy lamb pictures, and wrapped up the day with a loud and crazy dance party! 🎉🐑

From outer space to city streets, these kids at @Pittsburgh’s Jefferson Rec Centee learned about amazing Black inventors, Mae Jemison and Garret Morgan. They created ‘My Black Is Beautiful’ portraits, and wrapped up with homework help and brain-boosting fun.

KinderSports greetings from @Pittsburgh's Phillips Rec Center! Today, the kiddos did an activity with scooters and played "Simon Says" in the gym. They also read "How the crayons saved the rainbow" and then made their own rainbow crafts.
