As a result of the recent winter weather, the Lookout Mountain Battlefield Visitor Center and Point Park will remain closed on Thursday, January 18. The Chickamauga Battlefield Visitor Center and all other park units will be open.

Due to potentially hazardous weather conditions forecast for this afternoon, Chickamauga Battlefield and Lookout Mountain Battlefield Visitor Centers will close at 12 pm (noon).

UPDATE: Due to accumulating snow, icy conditions, and below freezing temperatures, the CHICKAMAUGA BATTLEFIELD VISITOR CENTER, the LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN BATTLEFIELD VISITOR CENTER, and POINT PARK will have a delayed opening on Tuesday, December 27, until 10 am.
