People ask for “baseball specific” training in the gym yet they’re running long distances as “conditioning” on the field. Jogging doesn’t mimic any force or velocity application on the field and trains the energy system a baseball player never uses. #baseball #conditioning.

What should I do after I pitched 80-100 pitches? . Mobility, Sleep, Hydrate, Eat. Pitching is high stress, we want the body to start the recovery process ASAP. We don’t need to pour ⛽️ on the 🔥 . #pitching #baseball #armcare.

Just because we’re getting older doesn’t mean you can’t be athletic anymore. The aging process can be slowed by proper strength and speed training. 30 year olds can sprint, 40 year olds can sprint, everyone can sprint. Don’t you want to keep up with your kids? #alwaysanathlete.

What’s the best thing to do the day after I’ve pitched? . General Movement. Focus on moving the body and raising heart rate. The goal is to get blood flow and mobilize joints. Don’t waste your time with poles, instead do a mobility circuit. #mobility #armcare #baseball.
