This project started based on @ChappyStrength’s thesis work and we ran with it to explore an important methods-related question. In summary, our data suggests normalizing: 🔵 sagittal knee NJM with mass*height or mass*leg length 🔵 frontal knee NJM with height or leg length

So, we got Montreal Canadians crossing the border without quarantine, and having 2,500 INDOORS ( https://t.co/BZIZVqD2je). Versus our Olympians racing in empty OUTDOOR stadiums. But COVID transmission is 18.7 times more likely indoors... https://t.co/FaQeRNVDZj Science what?

Shoutout to my labmate @mvmtsci. Working multiple practitioners/industrial roles I don't have time to focus on pub research. Steven Hirsch did an amazing job running with this getting it to the finish line. Thankful for being part of team @_Tyson_Beach

One of the most difficult hikes I’ve ever done - Mestachibo Ouest. Pictures give no indication. Had to cut the 14km short at the last out wasn’t going to make it before dark. 8km in 5 hours is pretty slow moving.…

Super proud of Nate Morris, @CSICalgary strength coach - his first, first-author publication from his thesis! Nate looked at the effects of HT autograft on hamstring muscle morphology and the quadriceps/hamstring RFD-joint angle relationship after ACLR 👇 https://t.co/qpqCR4jGtc

It's interesting how sport scientist posts are advertised. The role has 'scientist' in it so you'd think employers would want those with an excellent understanding of the scientific method and critical analysis skills, but I rarely see these listed as desirable qualities.

Quick overnighter in the backcountry on my way to training camp. First hike with full gear of the season, forgot how much work rucking fully loaded on aggressive terrain is. #AdventureAthlete @ Frontenac Provincial Park
