Surprisingly, we see that bipolarons in the disordered regions really enhance electronic conductivity. Once they became too numerous and populate the ordered domains, the conductivity decays

We show that the doping/dedoping speed and extent are very different in the ordered and disordered domains of P3HT. Bipolarons are found mainly in disordered regions, while polarons are preferentially in the ordered.
