@CatHobbs More of this please! The penny will drop soon….that investing tax money, NHS budget in external providers fixes nothing and just makes the underinvestment in the NHS even worse.

@CatHobbs @danielgoyal Our local hospital doesn’t have an MRI machine but the private hospital on the same site does. Always found it ridiculous that they couldn’t invest in a MRI scanner

@CatHobbs Not certain that is what he said during the @bbcr4today interview i listened to this morning. He confirmed outsourcing scanning to private contractors has cost £1 billion. He did not promise to save £1 billion. The Capex and revenue expenditure on staff will not save £1 bn!
