It's because it's so difficult creating a market for water and keeping customers wanting it. She must have many sleepless nights worrying about falling demand and competition from other water producers - oh dear me I forgot that there's no competition.

Privatisation when governments sell off our services cheaply to their pals, so we can pay more for a worse service and be told it's all in our best interest.

On a PUBLIC utility, at that. Then they plead they can't afford to mend the leaky pipes. Then they charge unreasonably high prices.

It's totally justified. These top earning execs are the best of the best. Just look at Fred Goodwin, Philip Green. The reality is that they somehow get to these positions. How many of recent High Street CEO's have turned their compaines around. Seems more down to luck and timing.
