It seems they have actively used the whole RT/LLS debâcle to strip it of it's worth to us by allowing it to act corruptly for years. Stripped it of its internal funds by constant carefree overspend to get the physical assets for low money.

And that sort of broadcasting is generally accepted as not being self funding. That needs to be an accepted fact before considering how RTE be funded.
