"Every country is entitled to have its own migration policy but I certainly don't intend to allow anyone else's migration policy affect the integrity of our own one” [Simon Harris] So, that’ll be a NO to the EU Migration Pact and the Asylum Migration Management Regulation then?

@Casey5122dark The FG party had a choice of Simon Coveney, Paschal ODonoghue, Heather Humphreys. They more than deserve all that is coming to them.

@Casey5122dark @drjaneholland He’s defining the mess currently surrounding migration as a policy? It very clearly isn’t working, Taoiseach/Minister. We need to: Set our Policy in writing Have 0 element of fluidity: it is as it says in that official document UK identified as Safe country Open Deportation Cntr.

@Casey5122dark If there is a return policy why has it not being enforced to date with countries who have taken responsibility? He is of course distracting from the truth. We have an open border, no doubt about it. Reality and panic or public pressure?

@Casey5122dark Ah now that would be the sensible thing to do. But maybe not from a supposedly sovereign nation which takes 70% of legislation from the EU.

@Casey5122dark @PSIA1851 granted Judicial Review by Justice Hyland this June 2024. Challenge worth reading Prof. Someone actually doing something as opposed to our purported judiciary merely spouting the bleeding obvious, but forever doing jack about it. Will they help ? Will they heck.

@Casey5122dark What migration policy would they be? Is that the one on paper only. We haven't had a working or applied migration system since FF/FG entered government.

@Casey5122dark I wonder how he thinks he can force the UK to take them back... does he have a large, magical, push-shovel that he can use to push them into ferries or across the border and was #Newtownmountkennedy a "bridge too far"
