Isn’t it encouraging to know that the ‘great and the good’ of Irish political life were just as confused and had as many reservations about ‘durable relationships’…

Who knows what they’ll do in the privacy of the polling booth but, it seems, despite any reservations they may have or have had, they’re all rowing in behind the Yes side.

It’s a bit Humpty Dumpty, who reckoned words meant whatever you wanted them to. Every Yes supporter I’ve heard on radio has struggled with this & imagine they’re licking their lips in the Law Library at prospect of numerous cases if this passes
