If we start slaughtering our cattle for some infinitesimal contribution to the remediation of climate change (a phenomenon of which I am not a little sceptical, unless it's the way climate has been changing through the aeons), laughing stock may be the only stock we have!

The cow is the best creature ever it turns grass into, meat ,milk ,cheese and reproduces its own kind we are blessed to have them I think culling humans is the real objective.
@odonnev
It wasn't for nothing that cattle were a unit of currency in many ancient societies. Even the 'pecunious' in our word 'impecunious' (meaning, without wealth) comes from pecus, cattle.
In contemplating the wilful destruction of 200,000 cattle for a quixotic purpose, we are…

This has nothing whatsoever to do with “climate change,” and everything to do with food. Starving people are easier to control. Full stop.
@Casey5122dark
Reducing GHG emissions from cows will not reduce global warming. 1) Methane is part of the carbon cycle. This means that biogenic methane emissions are net zero in absolute terms; 2) Carbon leakage, especially from countries like Brazil.

They want Ireland on the lettuce leaves and soy meat! Ireland has always been the lab for big change such as full smoking ban, over turning a perfectly fine referendum until the agendas agenda was met and it goes on.
