At DSA Convention this year, some delegates questioned whether or not an arms embargo was the right demand and if Israel really needed American bombs to carry out genocide. These 2000 lb bombs were made in January 2025 in Garland, TX - which should answer that question

Good to see @absfarooq on the NPC. Bummed I didn’t get a chance to talk at convention, but we had a good phone call for maybe an hour a few weeks ago and that’s why I ranked him first. Also just had to show that Medicare For All leads the Carnation Program and my wife did too.

I have been incredibly lucky to work alongside the @palyouthmvmt on the Mask Off Maersk campaign and co-author this article with my campaign comrades Kaleem and Lea. We highlight key lessons from the successes of the campaign - and this lesson in particular stood out to me:

To win an arms embargo, we have to build federal power. Strong, public-facing national leadership is a critical part of that. Alex is skilled at communicating popular issues that DSA should focus on to build our membership. Delegates should rank Ashik for the same reasons.
