Valuable lessons for Web3 Founders from Dialect's early growth strategy (

)
1/ Rather than using tokens to bootstrap network, they use sticker packs. Team found something that is non-monetary, yet intangibly very valuable to their desired initial customer segment ๐งต๐
They create user-value without issuing a monetary token that will be subject to high volatility before PMF.
In addition, weeds out early mercenary users that are focused on yield generation. Targets users that really care about their product (& stickers).
2/ They conduct periodic drops to keep users engaged and keep "notifications on" - so important, as it means they are more likely to see messages from their frens and engage
3/ Lastly, includes a built-in wallet, enabling Web2-like UX, but ALSO give users ability to export keys - delivers valuable product experience without sacrificing ecosystem lock-in

Works for a platform like dialect which has a lot of organic buzz and excitement around it already - Iโm not sure if this would work for other protocols/platforms without that recognition and buzz tbh, but love to see new models of new user incentivization and acquisition
