The federal government has not earned any "trust us" credits. Their rules engaging Canadians' privacy rights should be viewed with deep scepticism.
Attending lawful access briefing (Bill C-2) when official matter of factly says “as you know, there was no consultation on the bill prior to introduction”. Most tough issues apparently left for regulations. Bill with huge privacy implications and responses are basically trust us.

Sad yet not surprising from the federal government and its very suspect contracting practices. .
Canada’s ‘Vaccine Injury Support Program’ subcontracted at cost of 50 million. Now under audit. A former contractor says working there was a “joke“. Drinking Fridays, YouTubing, ping-pong tables, and little if any care or attention paid to those injured.

This case will determine whether the marketplace of ideas is dead at the U of S College of Law (which I attended). If debate is dead at the College of Law, that is a very dark omen for the profession and the Province. Yet, the SK Gov appears entirely impotent to support.
This story is outrageous. Jamie Sarkonak: He mildly questioned DEI. His law school calls that 'misconduct' via @nationalpost.
