@CaliRustt I'm pretty sure they're working on a revival for the hardcore game mode again. They know what went wrong last time. If it's done right, it's going to be super refreshing. Hopefully, the first long-lasting side gamemode for Rust.

@CaliRustt 100% there needs to be changes. Vanilla isn’t even vanilla anymore especially with how much servers can modify maps and stuff. Keep it vanilla top to bottom, no monday wipes either

@CaliRustt There's plugins that remove the tech tree and bring back the research of old. Unfortunately, vanilla players would never see this though.

@CaliRustt Yeah, it's just not fun with the groups rushing tech tree first hour to Tommy. Drone shops are cool but need to be more expensive and have a cool down period between uses. Also should be limited to scrap as payment only unless walkup.

@CaliRustt No map / safe zone / drones it would be awesome then. People could more easily hide bases etc

@CaliRustt We started with no tech tree on official rust console servers, the moment they put tech tree, game feel pretty dead. When you had to find items to learn them I remember the stress finding garage door or tommy on wipe day, or heard a raid and must go in hope to learn explo etc

@CaliRustt the scrap system needs a complete overhaul badly. i think make things research table only and have certain big items like garage door spawn at specific monuments to promote going around the map more

@CaliRustt Balance between sweats and boobs will be very significant....just keep getting owned without even be able to get out of the beach...the sweats will still have a gun first hour

@CaliRustt Tech tree killed the only point of rust, searching and finding what you need, fight to get what you want, now its scraps bot farm land and offline land and its because of this

@CaliRustt Hardcore exists but content creators don't play it. They all play vanilla or modded. Funny how that works. Everyone bitches for legacy but no one plays the closest thing. All did a vid on it when it dropped though. Next big thing yada yada.
