Nature's ability to heal is nothing short of remarkable. Within 1 year of Klamath River dam removal, salmon returned to their historic spawning grounds. This effort paves the way for dam removal across CA, providing hope for recovering native fish runs.

π What does successful restoration look like? At Baduwaβt (Mad River) Estuary, it looks like fish returning! Since 2022, 15.5K+ fish from 17 species incl. ones threatened & endangered ones, have been documented, w/ coho fry 20% larger than nearby! More:
