So instead of Toronto Police protecting them, theyβre telling the nurses to go hide. The same nurses that have been working 24/7 over the past 2 years cause of the unvaccinated filling up the hospitals.
K. Cool. Got it.
@CP24
Something doesn't add up with telling hospital staff to not wear their scrubs???
Do they believe they will be harassed by the protesters???
Seems a little too far fetched IMO.
@CP24
Can we start calling this terrorism.
They are worried healthcare workers will be attacked.
People in Ottawa have been harassed to the point where areas of town have been shut down.
This is not okay.
To clarify some commentary today, we would not direct healthcare staff on whether or not to wear uniforms.
Healthcare workers remain a priority for the Toronto Police and officers will be present around hospitals this weekend to ensure they feel safe going to and from work.
@CP24
How sad is this.
Last year we were banging pots and pans for them, cheering, and turning on our Christmas lights for them. Our real heroes should not feel threatened or harassed.

Hello Dr.
The Service would not direct hospital workers on whether or not to wear their uniforms. We understand some staff have expressed concerns about being identified as healthcare workers.

Everyone calling out
@TorontoPolice
β¦ Iβm calling out the public. - If you see someone harassing a hospital worker, you better do something about it.
Luckily ppl from TO arenβt weak like Ottawa. Anybody did that in front of me, Iβd be the one getting locked up.
