📣New results on the role of the infant airway microbiota in childhood asthma! We went back to where it all began - the COPSAC2000 cohort - and sequenced 285 samples from 1-year olds 👶, which had hung out in the biobank for 20 years!❄️ Read more:

In a new study we found that high levels of 25(OH)D in early childhood were associated with a reduced risk of AD, allergy, asthma exacerbations and infections. Our findings suggest vitamin D as an important micronutrient in early childhood. https://t.co/aGTWCqV8ZU
