@UNICEFUganda has today handed over two ambulances to the @MinofHealthUG to strengthen emergency medical response and referral services in Mukono District One designated for Mukono North and the other for Mukono South to enhance timely access to healthcare.

The support will strengthen nutrition services in 13 refugee-hosting districts — including Adjumani, Yumbe, Koboko, Lamwo, Kiryandongo, Kikuube, Isingiro & more — ensuring that no child is left behind. It comes at a critical time as Uganda continues to host nearly 2M refugees.

Through the Building Resilience and an Effective Emergency Refugee Response (#BRAER) initiative, this support will bridge 81% of the therapeutic food pipeline gap — ensuring treatment for up to 20,000 children suffering from severe acute malnutrition.#InvestInUGchildren #FSNA2025
