Financial journalists/analysts (cough, cough) that have assisted/cheered on the Fed’s slow strangling of capitalism over the past decade declares its shock of its demise. That horse left the barn back in 2010...🤨

Will we be any different than Italy ( who I love btw and was married there, etc ) with their Alitalia, Unicredito, and ENI? ( see American Airlines, selected banks, and the energy sector that will be supported despite building too much capacity )

Capitalism isn't dead. There are still exchanges of goods and services between consenting parties.
So correction here: "Free Markets Are Dead" - The Fed killed them.
It started slow, but then ramped up full steam when they trampled on their own mandate & bought Corp (junk) Debt

The Fed said the nation’s biggest banks are healthy
However:
Fed puts restrictions on bank dividends after test finds some banks could be stressed in pandemic
Fed Forbids Share Buybacks
Financials: Solid as a rock or .........

So let me get this straight. The Fed can dish it out in the trillions but a bank paying cents in dividends is wrong? Future generations will pay dearly for the incompetence and irresponsibleness of the Fed.
