To our childhood cancer researcher community- @VIVObiobank has all ethics in place now for using all former CellBank samples in research involving animals including PDX. Thanks to all involved who helped get the ethical approval for this important use of patients samples!.
Professor Deb Tweddle is head of the @VIVObiobank, which stores the majority of children’s & young people’s cancer samples in the UK 🧬. In our #ResearchRoundup blog she shares what tissue banking is and how it can help children with cancer. More info at
