Happy Birthday to Lt.Col Charity Edna Earley (nee Adams) 1918-2002, Commander, 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion also known as the Six Triple Eight. This segregated WWII Women’s Army Corps unit received the nation’s highest civilian honor, the Congressional Gold Medal.
