Vested Interests Inventing “Chemical Imbalance” Theory to Sell Drugs—An historical record (1988 to 2008) of CCHR International's exposure of antidepressant risks and the false marketing of the...
There's never been evidence of a 'chemical imbalance' causing depression. Brain scans & autopsies show no objective markers to differentiate depressed vs. non-depressed individuals. #MentalHealth #Depression

Sixty years ago, studies were done comparing antidepressants with what is called “active placebos,” drugs that mimic the side effects of antidepressants. The conclusion? Almost no difference in outcome. Reading about the results of these 1960s studies was a lightbulb moment for

@DrMakaryFDA The @US_FDA is still ignoring the sometimes permanent condition known as Post-SSRI Sexual Dysfunction (PSSD). In fact, they still haven’t required any warnings about this possibility. After 6 years of doing nothing, the agency was sued by @Public_Citizen. https://t.co/92U92PiGDN
🚨 FDA sued for not acting on a petition calling for the warning labels on antidepressants to be updated. SSRIs/SNRIs can sometimes cause permanent sexual dysfunction, even after the drug is discontinued, and users have a right to know - even if the risk is rare.

There is decades of evidence antidepressants cause mass shootings. From the start, clinical trials showed SSRIs caused psychotic violence and suicides but industry hid it until lawsuits revealed it. This article shows just how far the FDA went to bury it https://t.co/wSrxXt4WXn

@RepTiffany Puberty blockers are currently getting a lot of attention, but few people know that SSRIs and similar antidepressants can also irreversibly destroy a child’s sexual function (PSSD). Doctors continue prescribing them to children without even warning them. https://t.co/VAh8dVDITM
Antidepressants can lead to physical changes in the genitals. Dr. Ahad Waraich, through the use of ultrasounds, has detected penile scarring (fibrosis) in young men experiencing #PSSD. The penile tissue of young PSSD patients usually resembles that of an 80-year-old person.

"This sacred part of the human experience has been stolen from me." Some children will never develop normal sexual function because of antidepressants they were given at a young age. Both parents and children are not given informed consent about #PSSD.
