4 rounds? No chance of them beating lpga pros. Girls don’t hit as far as the male amateurs but they can hit a lot closer with hybrid than scratch golfer’s short irons. I know because I played with them at my home course 😂.
@ByeongHunAn Totally fair. But wouldn’t you agree if they had to play 4 round tournament conditions the scratch would have very little chance?.

Amateurs have nothing to lose. Pros will have days when you feel iffy and amateurs having the best rounds of their life. Then it will be closer than you think. Definitely favors are pros but I wouldn’t bet my life on it 🤷♂️.
I 100% want to do this. I think we start with an LPGA Tour player vs a scratch male golfer who talks shit & thinks he could beat a pro, same tees, & see what happens. I would bet my life on the LPGA pro no matter what tees are played.

Here is my take on many of you, who are saying that we wouldn’t either. We would be finishing no problem but we might lose couple balls. 🤷♂️.
@BryanDFuller Pros have pretty good idea of how far we just hit. I’ve noticed in many pro-ams, they struggle spot their ball because they are way off in distance perspective not the line.

18 handicappers will not finish a round without volunteers.
So much talk about “what would X handicap shoot at Oakmont”… .Why don’t we find a way to make it happen? Have a 5, 10, 18 whatever handicap play Monday after the @usopengolf. Back tees full rules of golf, and see what happens? May have to let a few groups thru and allow for 6-7.

Speed is playable, length of the rough is similar to muirfield. But contour and shape of the greens are very tricky. There are lots of spots where I went, “ there is no way to hit it close or keep it on the green”.
