HARD FLIPPING PASS. I do NOT want our Prime Minister interVENING in ANY provincial jurisdictional affairs - period. Intervention in Ontario's greenbelt issue would be a violation of his authority and role. The opposition outage over it might result in a premature federal election
@timethief
Wrong. Federal responsibility for the environment takes precedence specifically for situations like this. Doug weakened Ontario environmental laws KNOWING what he is doing would violate the laws Ontario already had in place.
@teach_n_travel
I wouldn't either. That's why I email and tag
@s_guilbeault
every chance I get. They are holding up HWY 413 for assessments and the greenbelt is home to more endangered or threatened species. Doug removing protections also makes it obvious as hell. He KNOWS that it's damaging.
@ButlerLonney
Yes, government intervention always has good outcomes and no unintended consequences. In our housing crisis in which they say we are developer friendly, can you imagine what it will be like if are developer unfriendly?
@gtacommercialre
Government "intervention" is exactly what Doug is doing. There is enough approved land already and Doug knows it. Waiving greenbelt protections AND developer fees are just a gift to his donors and you can bet Doug has his hand in the pot too.
@JForsyth93
Stomping on threatened and endangered species to make your buddies some money is so much better right? Moral compass lacking with the right wing?
