We’re also raising the minimum base fee from 0.0002→0.0005 gwei to improve functionality of the chain. A typical transaction at the minimum base fee costs <1/10th of a cent.

We pushed a Base Chain capacity upgrade today. Block gas limit is now 375 Mgas/block, which means ~25% higher burst capacity and ~4-5% higher average throughput as activity grows.

Every user has a Base account, and it's the best wallet experience you can provide for users in the Base app. We're rolling out spend permission functionality in mini apps soon to make this experience even smoother. Check out this tutorial from Youssef on how you can use them:
