First up, @JMJackman27 discussing #eDNA as alternative method for surveying 🐟 on the Mersey & understand hydrological processes on transport of eDNA. All sampling methods tried worked well so eDNA feasible. Found 🧬 moves far into estuary. Helps to interpret findings #UKDNAWG24

@BroadhurstHolly looks at how to improve benefits for and engagement of #CitizenScience participants in an #eDNA study. Moreover, citizen scientist collected samples detected more species in more sites than researchers as could do it over a longer period of time 🤘🤘🤘
