Judge says he can't rule based on what he's heard, no matter how sympathetic. Asking counsel to get together for a confirmatory order, says he doesn't want "shakespeare, he wants hemingway." Wants them to get right to the point.

Judge - cannot rule on something without evidentiary support. Stops ACLU attorney in his tracks. Denies the request for the other polling places to remain open.

Judge, your clients intentions are not unfavorably viewed. Declining DEM motion to change the hours based on lack of evidence. ACLU says there should be more time given to allow for factual finding to support the motion rather than capitulate to the bomb threat.

Judge asks GOP attorney about whether they agree there is a broader issue caused by the email. GOP attorney says she can't vouch for the content of the email. Judge asks, "would you agree" the bomb threat is sufficient cause to extend voting.

City says bomb threat came in at 6pm and is asking that the polls for the impacted locations be considered for extended operating time.

They were outside the polling place for 23 minutes and 9 seconds - asking if GOP would permit the polling place to remain open for an additional 23 minutes. GOP Counsel agrees, polling place will be allowed to remain open an additional 23 minutes.
