Quite incredible at #WISE. More than 70% of new customers come from recommendations from existing customers. The sign of a great product.

I've said it privately in DMs, but #WISE in 2024 has echoes of Amazon in 2004. A relentless focus on value and scope to customers means that thinking of WISE as a currency biz is like thinking of Amazon as a book seller 20 years ago. Could be wrong but it looks assymetric to me

Just had a read of @FundamentalGoob's writeup of WISE PLC. Absolutely excellent. If you aren't following them already, please do.

A little Sunday morning reading, in which I take a look at Games Workshop PLC to try and assess if it's still undervalued. https://t.co/wOdrdQPepr

A great read. Take a look at the paper linked at the end of the thread too 👍

The paper titled "The Equity Compounders" was published by Morgan Stanley in 2016. "These compounders have generated superior risk-adjusted returns across the economic cycle". 🧵 Our 6 favourite highlights:

Warpaint London (LSE:W7L) is up 47% YTD, but currently trades on a valuation of 90 times free cash flow. It's a fantastic growth story, but is it still under valued? What do you think?

Odessos Shiprepair Yard (BUL-ODES). No debt, strong EPS growth and a low valuation. The first of three companies I looked at this weekend: https://t.co/FS8AbsErTu

1/ I started writing publicly on Seeking Alpha on February 2022, publishing 69 company-specific articles since. I decided to look back to build a scorecard with the ratings I've given the companies I've written about. (More in the next tweets)

My latest newsletter just went out. This week I've been taking a look at a Bulgarian ship repair yard, a Brazilian sports manufacturer, and a Polish lead-acid battery recycler. The thing they have in common? They all appear exceedingly cheap. https://t.co/FS8AbsErTu

In recent weeks I've been placing increasing attention on more globally focussed companies (within the scope of my investable countries). My methodology and stock screener is simple: Focus on...

Final one. Dutch payment processing company Adyen (ADYEN), currently on a P/E of 53. Five years ago was on a P/E of 116. Even with a less than stellar three year performance has still returned nearly 18% annually in the last five years.

Out of the tech world, Hermes (RMS) shares much the same performance. P/E five years ago was much the same as it is today (mid-high 40's). It's returned 30% a year since.

There's a sizeable chunk of the investing community that would argue Nvidia (NVDA) is overvalued. Three years ago it traded on a P/E of 70. It's returned 77% a year since. Investing is hard.
