We’ve donated this vehicle to @KenyaRedCross in support of our joint projects in Masalani, Garissa. We support youth to enroll in vocational courses, and provide cash grants and trainings to small businesses. We’re also working towards having a bee keeping project there this year

The perseverance of these Red Cross staff and volunteers is our #MondayMotivation. 💪🏾 Reaching those most vulnerable and hard to reach has its challenges, particularly when rains and #flood waters renders roads and paths almost impassible.

Floods response activities continue in areas affected by heavy downpour. In Turkana, we distributed non-food items in Letea, Loima and Ngilukumo. In Muino, West Pokot, the County Govt provided food to families affected by landslides while we supported them with non-food items.

Happening this week in Malindi is the CPEYK review meeting where our teams from @KenyaRedCross will be reviewing the progress of the project in the eight counties. The meeting will focus on creating an integrative- sustainability plan (post-project) for the youth we work with.
