LIVE: Agency leaders provide updates on the Artemis II mission following the conclusion of the mission's wet dress rehearsal.

NASA completed a wet dress rehearsal for the Artemis II mission in the early morning hours on Feb. 3. To allow teams to review data and conduct a second wet dress rehearsal, NASA will now target March as the the earliest possible launch opportunity for the Artemis II mission.

Due to weather, we now plan to fuel our Artemis II Moon rocket on Monday, Feb. 2, at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. With this adjustment, the earliest possible launch date is Sunday, Feb. 8. A launch date will be set after teams have reviewed the results of the wet dress

Artemis II is on a roll. Building on the successful @NASAArtemis I mission, Artemis II is the first crewed flight of NASA’s SLS rocket and Orion spacecraft. It’ll provide critical data for Artemis III — the first crewed landing on the Moon since Apollo 17.
