@TheJream2 i don’t wanna say the most because I do think other race of women are equally as homophobic however, it’s gonna appear to us as if they’re more homophobic because we are black and we experience it most in our own communities. It’s proximity

@BobbyKingDeal I wanna know too! But I will say the best experience I’ve had being a gay black man was one time I was at the doctor for routine blood work and A1C and I had a black Nurse who asked if I was get and I told her yes and her son I think he was 14 had just came out to her

@BobbyKingDeal Maybe I’m making this up, but I think it comes from an awareness of how much harder life will be for that for child. I think a mother often just wants to mitigate the adversity their child faces, and sometimes they become the adversity in the process.

@BobbyKingDeal My thing is theres nothing inherently wrong about not wanting a queer child if the fear comes from not wanting them to endure what comes with big queer for many of us. But to say “oh if my kid is gay i will-“ or “ I will do this to prevent-“ is so insane

@BobbyKingDeal HOMOPHOBIA is an ingrained condition that persists if it isn't acknowledged. As a gay man, I had to acknowledge my own HOMOPHOBIA in order to explain how HOMOPHOBIA isn't a fear primarily but an aversion.

@BobbyKingDeal I think some of it is they want grandchildren, and don’t understand that gay people can still be parents. I think the other is FEAR that some homophobe will harm their son! A lot of Gay men have been murdered.
