Please get your Covid and Flu #vaccines to keep yourself, those around you and our NHS safe, this winter
As we head into winter, hospital admissions in England with Covid are increasing sharply (again), plus flu and RSV starting their annual rise. The year round nature of Covid could not be more obvious! There's also a lot of Rhinovirus (causes common cold) around.

We welcome today’s announcement of a £400m investment in clinical trials in the UK. We hope it will lead to faster access to new treatments for #KidneyPatients and enable more patients to participate in clinical trials. Our health economics report published last year estimated
The @DHSCgovuk has announced £400 million investment to boost clinical trials. Given the challenges in embedding research in the NHS, this funding is welcome. It has the potential to make the NHS more attractive for clinical research and trials, benefitting patients and the UK.

It’s #WorldOrganDonationDay & there remain significant inequalities in access to organ transplants, especially for people from ethnic minority backgrounds. We can help address this by registering to become organ donors #EndInequality

As a former refugee & a Muslim woman, words fail me at the blatant racism & Islamophobia taking grip. This country, that took me in & gave me a future, is riddled with public figures who have vilified the most vulnerable in our society. Their words have devastating consequences
