I feel helpless and tired about the world. I watched my brother die slowly across half a year, and after I buried him I turn around and wake up to everyone’s worlds falling apart at the hands of a few psychopaths and gluttons.
It’s exhausting. It’s scary. And it feels like…
… people are just going to get annoyed or mad or dismissive about you speaking up.
I remember when I deep dove into the topic of rape after my own and how victims are treated across the board. It reminded me of how I feel as someone with depression and OCD: no one wants to…
… hear about it. While we’re getting better about it, with speaking out we still run the risk of our friends tuning out, our acquaintances walking away, the effects of a discomfort in ignorant complicity.
But I’m tired. I’m burnt out. If I don’t work, I think.
I feel for my friends and peers affected by all of this. Most recently and closest to home are the devs at 3D Realms and Slipgate. I wish I could financially afford to help. I hope there are other ways I can help.

Not gonna lose me as a follower or anything (I’m pretty chill about it) curious why you lumped Israel into this as some sort of the de-facto list of evil or something. What made you so passionate about it?
@wilsonyotam
Isreal exists as an apartheid state that is currently conducting a genocide. The US is complicit in this, actively ignoring and demonizing the majority of Americans asking them to stop Israel.
This is verifiable not just from Palestinian victims but from Israel's own statements.
