Congrats to Baskin, Louisiana native @laineywilson on an extraordinary week: On top of winning 2 Country Music Awards at the event she co-hosted with Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, she also had a portion of Highway 15 named in her honor.

A special thank you to the talented students from Erath Middle School for showcasing their wonderful musical abilities! They sang in French and played the fiddle and accordions, adding a beautiful touch to the evening.

It was an honor to be recognized alongside Olympic gold medalist Armand "Mondo" Duplantis, whose achievements continue to inspire us all.

Today, I'm throwing it back to my meeting with Acadiana Veterans in the Fall of 2015. On Veterans Day, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of our all of brave service members who have served and defended our freedoms.

The RPWST Patriot Pickleball tournament on Saturday was a wonderful success! Pickleball is a unifying, fun game that anyone can play! This event supported St. Tammany's American Legion Post 16 and I was grateful to participate!
