A cold front will plow through South Central Texas tonight bringing with it gusty winds and much colder temperatures. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected, particularly over the Coastal Plains where a threat for some strong/severe storms exists.

Seasonably cool temperatures Thursday and Friday, briefly warm on Saturday, then turn sharply colder with well below average temperatures Sunday through the middle of next week. Rain chances return on Friday and continue through Monday, then decrease middle of next week.

Seasonable temperatures and dry weather are forecast for Thanksgiving this year across South-Central Texas. The morning will start off chilly in the 40s, but the afternoon should warm up into the 60s for most under partly cloudy skies and with light breezes. #txwx
