Tobin’s words on Tee aren’t encouraging. If he lets Tee walk on free agency, it should be last move he ever makes in Cincy. I’ve defended him at times, but that would be an abomination.

@BengalsNation8 Duke has been messing up rosters since 99. When the QB is paid Tobin struggles to put the pieces in place to keep the ball moving

@CoachKamC He’s done alright at times but with their recent success, I haven’t been too mad at him. But this would be absolutely awful. A #1 WR and arguable top 10 guy that loves this team and is loved by the fan base. If you let him walk for nothing, that’s just not doing the job.

@BengalsNation8 He’s not letting him walk. He’s talking about trading

@ProfessorDraft I lean that way too. But he left it a little open ended. I get it’s the media though.

@BengalsNation8 Here’s the problem. Tee can get 30 million a year on the open market & Chase is going to get a market setting contract. It’s extremely difficult to field a good roster if 3 players are taking up half the Cap space. If Tee would accept 4/100 then they would extend him.

@TimothySouth6 I’m not mad if he ends up somewhere else. I’ll just be mad if he walks in free agency this year. To me, re-signing (contract withstanding) or tag/tag and trade are the only options.

@BengalsNation8 The least is a tag and trade plot. Cannot afford to let a large asset like that walk

@WayneAdams918 That’s my thought. I get if his agent talks him out of a long term deal. That happens. But letting him walk in FA this year would be awful.

@BengalsNation8 If you're paying your QB the most money in NFL history, you should be able to get by with only paying one WR. Would love to have Tee back but that's too much money to tie up on the WR unit.

@OSU_Bengals But paying that QB record money doesn’t kick in until 2025. I won’t be mad if Tee has to go by then. But a tag or tag and trade should be the minimum of what happens with him this year.

@BengalsNation8 I think they have to tag and trade. If the Cowboys are going to”all in” like they say it’s a good partner for that

@dmxfury Maybe. Losing Boyd and Tee in the same year isn’t great. They’d manage but why set yourself up for a challenge that isn’t necessary.
