Xavi Simons is too good to not be a key player at his club wherever he ends up. Shouldn’t accept a role at PSG where he doesn’t get regular minutes, he’s too good for that
My hope is that he ends up at Arsenal competing for all the front 3 and
#8
positions
Superstar potential💫
Scored an insane goal Vs Leverkusen but also an all-round good game. Every game his instincts and intelligence shines. Truly special player

Have you noticed how you recommend a player when he's almost free or very cheap. Then Arsenal tends to start looking in that direction when the player is likely to cost more?
Isn't that frustrating?
I remember in the last window you recommended Xavi Simons.
@Arsenal_Era
Yepppp, very frustrating haha! He was rumoured to be around 20m I think, instead now he could be 40,50+ let’s see what they ask for but I don’t think he’ll be cheap now
I think about stuff longer term most of the time and with opportunity signings and he was a clear opportunity
@doonie_demon
When I say compete for these positions I mean he could start in any of those positions, just depends where we’d want to use him.
But I think whether he signed or not would depend on the fee and if PSG asked for more than 50m then I don’t see us doing it
@Ben_Mattinson_
This guy?
Really?😂
Couldn't hack it at PSG, sent off to PSV where he started cooking unsurprisingly.
He should stay at Bundesliga, that's his level.
Any proper club with expectations will expose him.
@Ben_Mattinson_
Signing him gives us essentially a Phil Foden-esque player. Can play either 8 position or on either wing. Has the quality and influence do it all. Could even play CF if needed.
Swiss Army knife that’s an improvement on ESR and eventually Trossard imo.
Would pay £60m+ for him
