Could not agree with this more. Every PHEV I've tested has done exactly the same job as the EVs.
Toyota has caught a LOT of shit for pushing hybrids over EVs. But the math shows they're right: to lower emissions fast, it'd be way more effective to spread our limited battery supply around full-hybrid lineups vs a relatively small number of full EVs. https://t.co/D6cpe8C9ko
