A brilliant thread about chemistry and how understanding chemistry can help people understand and critically evaluate deliberate mis-information (I am being kind as I believe most is deliberate lying)
🧂Table salt doesn’t explode when you add it to soup. 💉Saline solution doesn’t explode when injected into your veins. 🥤Your organs don’t explode when you drink Nuun, Tailwind, Gatorade, or other electrolyte drinks. Everyone agrees on these, right? These aren’t debated. 1/

Current #eduread Great learning by design. “Most of us do not have a deep understanding of how we learn, &even less have a language to talk about how we learn. Learning is often invisible”. To everyone returning for Term 2 best wishes and for those who have Easter Tuesday - enjoy

‘THE PITT’ concluded its first season last night. Every single episode outperformed the last since its premiere on January 9.

A great thread on recent research into feedback #Feedback
Is written feedback a waste of time? New study finds 1 in 5 students completely ignore feedback, while nearly half of those who did try to act on the feedback, don't improve at all. 🧵⬇️

An amazing 11IBDP Biology class today using the tug of war thinking routine asking the question are African and Asian elephants the same species? #CriticalThinking
