It was refreshing to see these senior government officials drop the formalities and develop and participate in skits and roleplays which is one of the tools used in the training.

The training entailed instilling these skills in these government officials so that they can in turn cascade to teachers within their jurisdiction through a series of trainings at sub county level. The ultimate goal is for the teachers to in turn impart these skills in learners.

This is part of continued scale up of YFK a @KICDKenya approved curriculum under the Life Skills category that aims to equip over 37,353 learners from these 3 counties with resilience skills & mindsets to help them bounce back & thrive amidst challenges & achieve their life goals
